I Change Things

Disclaimer (in fine print):
I hereby admit that I post stuff and then go back and add to it or change links, etc. Often. I'm a slow thinker. Stuff occurs to me late. I fix it. Sue me.
This does not strike me as a huge problem because in all honesty I'm only going to confuse a couple of people in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE.

So...you two...I change things. Don't be alarmed.

  1. Now I'm all confused an alarmed. Wait, wait. Ahh, okay, all better now.

    1. HAHAHA! REMAIN CALM!

I play out that scene dozens of times every day in my house. And it always ends the same way. With me flat out on the floor.

  2. It used to bother me that this is my blogging style too but I've come to think of it as offering readers a similar experience to a TV cooking show. First we show the raw meat and piles of aromatic additives, then we demonstrate the using the mixer and finally serve it up, let it sit there and allow it to be picked at it.

    1. CRIPES!...Suzette! I've read you for years. Welcome. Honestly, I'm beginning to feel like weird kid who got a new hairdo and contact lens and suddenly all the cool kids are talking to her. This is awesome!

The cooking show analogy is perfect. I always fancied myself a bit of a Julia Child, without the cooking skills. More just her voice....

  3. I do it sometimes, too, and I don't give a shit who has a problem with it. I've noticed that some bloggers think there is some big "journalism ethics" issue and you have to announce every single change, like adding a link or something. As though our blogs are the New York Times.

    RG: Haha! Excellent video choice.

    1. Well, Rachel, you are already well acquainted with my proofreading skills, so there's that. Fixing mistakes. Then there's just adding stuff because my "funny" is often slow...or off. I'll be typing along, thinking I'm funny as shit, and then once I post it, it reads entirely differently, as in NOT FUNNY AT ALL. So I change it to "barely funny but HEH! it's free" and call it good. There's only so much I can do...

      Yeah...this ain't the NYT, that's fo'shore.
