A Love That Lives Forever....

...or Social Security checks.  YEAH!

Is that cynical of me to mention?
JACKSON--Neighbors of a woman who kept her friend's body for months after he died say they seldom saw her around town.

Linda Chase, a 72-year-old Jackson woman, kept her friend Charles Zigler in a home at 365 N. Cooper St. for more than a year after he died, cleaning him, talking to him and watching NASCAR races on television with him.
Cleaning him?  What was he up to?  Don't answer me.  I don't want to know.  However, watching NASCAR with a dead guy is understandable.  It'll bore you to death anyway.  After awhile who could tell the difference?

But while Zigler was nice to her, his Social Security checks were sweet.
Chase said she "didn't want to be alone," and said that Zigler was "the only guy who was ever nice to me."
She admitted to police that she cashed Zigler's Social Security checks and kept his body.
