For All. For a New America.

Where is my America? I liked the old one.

I am not part of of this new America - this country where citizens no longer pledge their allegiance and honor to the ideas of liberty and justice for all but instead pledge their love and support to Obama in exchange for goodies and protections and privileges "for all".  This is an America I do not recognize. This is an America that so disrespects its history and symbols that it allows a man who promised to uphold them to instead denigrate them.

Obama's flag. Not my flag.

Gone are the 50 stars representing the power of the individual states against the tyranny of a centralized, federal government. Now only one symbol is displayed.

For all. For Obama.

This is not my America. This is tyranny.

This America asks you to pledge your support for Obama and send in your request for whatever you want while you do it. What is it that you want from Obama? What gift? What privilege? What promise? Just ask. For Obama is all.

No longer is this a country of "we the people." Now we are a country of Obama's people.

For all. For Obama.

This is not my America. This is tyranny.

Free healthcare. Free education. Free respect.
You are no longer expected to earn anything.
Obama will provide "for all" for Obama IS all.
 It's so cool.

As they pledge their allegiance to Obama, begging for goodies and treats, realize that--despite the smiles--they are demanding these things from you. Obama can not provide free healthcare or free education or even free respect. But he can make you provide it. And he will.

For all. For Obama.

This is not my America. This is tyranny.

  1. What the hell happened? Just a few years ago this seemed like a fairly normal country. It's like I woke up one day and discovered that half the people went insane overnight. They suddenly think that some lowlife Chicago politician is a loving god who has a magic money tree and can fulfill their lives and make all their desires come true. All I want is an opposition who don't insist on living in a fantasy world.

Snap out of it people! He's a complete failure, everything he touches turns to crap. He isn't even a very good public speaker. The only time you could say he's eloquent is when he's talking about how fabulous Barack Obama is and how smart you are for supporting the fabulous Barack Obama.

I tried to watch his statement on the Ambassador his incompetence got killed and he was so bad I couldn't do it. Check notes, 2-3 words to the right, check notes, 2-3 words to the left, rinse and repeat ad nauseum. When it comes to his actual job he can't be bothered to put in any effort.

  3. I'm sitting inside on a gorgeous day with poison oak all over me -- ARRRGGGHH!! I realize National Talk Like A Pirate Day is over, but ARRRRGGGGGGHHH!

I can't decide whether to allow myself to get morose over the insanity into which we seem determined to plunge headlong, or to get silly over the whole thing. The ol' don't know whether to laugh or cry situation.

We may just be witnessing the death of the greatest idea ever known to man. The idea that he belonged to himself -- NOT to the tribe or the king or the church or the "group" whatever the hell that meant.

Gone were the beliefs that virgins should be thrown into wells or witches burned at the stake or men enslaved to the lusts of other men. For thousands of years men had struggled under the belief that you belonged to SOME group and "it" had ultimate power, granting you life or succor. America said NO! A man belongs to himself because he is a man.

    Not any more.

It's a sad thing to watch our countrymen pledge away their own freedom for trinkets and shiny toys.

Well, that sucks. Hope it gets better soon.

Yeah, I go back and forth too. At least laughter pricks the tyrants' bubble though, they'd rather inspire anger than ridicule.

  4. No matter what happens, the strong always win, which means the welfare tit suckers, politicians, bureaucrats and other parasites on society go to the back of the bus. It's a natural process and they know it. That's why they're lying, cheating and praying to whatever amusement park statue they worship for divine intervention to prevent their downfall.

    1. My concern is that they will take many decent people with them as they fall.

      Not good.

  5. Dear Romney campaign,

Please make an ad that places the picture above next to this one:

    1. Indeed. The man is so close to treasonous in his contempt for this country and its history, beliefs, and symbols I am constantly astonished that 1/2 the country still adores him.
What is UP with these people?

    2. I had a long facebook chat with my baby sister (just turned 33, working an a PhD in archaeology), and having said that she has nothing against rich people, she admits that that's why she doesn't like Romney. I almost got her to admit the hypocrisy of that statement so she then said that part of it was that she didn't think he cared about anyone. And that she thinks that Obama genuinely cares about the middle class.

It's a lucky thing that Facebook doesn't allow one to type simple raucus laughter too easily.

I saved the chat and am thinking about editing it for spelling and to remove the most identifiable markings (like her name) and posting it on my blog. It's sort of fascinating how the leftie mind works. At least baby sis has the same ultimate goals for this country as most of us do, and also understands things like how bad it is to make welfare better money than working. There is hope for her to reach the dark side yet, MWAHAHAHA.

    3. I wanted to link this Open Letter to Democrat Voters somewhere here and I guess this is as good a place as any.

  6. Buttercup, do not despair. Check out "Just How Big An Advantage Does The MSM Have To Give Democrats In Their Polls To Get Obama A Lead, Anyway?" at Draw and Strike. It has a nice little graphic with % Obama Lead on the dependent axis and % of Dem Sample Advantage on the independent axis. The ABC/WaPo poll oversamples Democrats by 10 points and Obama has a 1 point lead. The Dem Corps poll oversamples Dems by 11 points and Obama has a 5 point lead. Rasmussen oversamples Dems by 1% and has Obama down by 1%. Rasmussen samples likely voters. Some of the others sample registerd voters, and others sample adults. Instead of becoming discouraged, look at the guts of the poll and look at the methodology. And, remember, the only poll that actually counts is the one in November.

    1. Yes, but here is the bigger problem, it seems to me.

Whether Obama is re-elected or sent to the woodshed, we STILL have a population that is around 45% or so which is completely, certifiably insane and we will STILL have the media to egg them on.

We are decades away from fixing this. And I don't know if we will because every time we start getting things turned around and therefore everyone feels good about things, the voters throw out the pecuniary Republicans and bring back the spendthrift Democrats because it ALWAYS feels better to SPEND MONEY! YEAH!

I do believe that if Romney wins we can at least try to right things. We'll have a fighting chance. For a while.
