Russian ships displayed at DNC tribute to vets

On the last night of the Democratic National Convention, a retired Navy four-star took the stage to pay tribute to veterans. Behind him, on a giant screen, the image of four hulking warships reinforced his patriotic message.
But there was a big mistake in the stirring backdrop: those are Russian warships.
This isn't even funny anymore, guys.
Good Lord, the constant drumbeat of incompetence really wears you down doesn't it? The Navy must have hundreds of similar photos of American ships but the DNC couldn't be bothered to get it right. Ugghh!

DeleteThey'd have to be retards either way on this one. If they weren't and it was intentional they'd have to know some Navy folks would recognize it and it would blow up in their faces unless they're just stupid. Normally they might not care but I don't think they'd do it intentionally just before an election. Some ignorant graphic designer might have done it intentionally, not realizing that anybody could tell the difference and it'd be a secret little thumb in the eye to the military he could gloat to himself over.
