The First Term of Obama Has Been a Failure... of America
Just look at the status of things. High unemployment. A sluggish economy teetering on the verge of another recession. A credit downgrade for our country. What a horrifying, stupid mess you've made of the past four years, you fat moron slobs.
When Obama took office, he handled everything with such brilliance that it was almost like he was a mystical being -- a regular faerie prince. When he saw what a horrible economy he inherited from you fool Americans, he sensibly spent hundreds of billions of dollars in stimulus money. And by his expert analysis, unemployment should have declined to just above 5% by now. So what happened? You globular, lazy, gun-clinging imbeciles didn't create the jobs you were supposed to!

Well of course he blames you. You have a uterus, don't you? Maybe you even carelessly let a viable tissue mass go to full term without aborting it. OB-viously this is the problem.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I was "punished" with a baby - TWICE! It's all my fault.
DeleteNow where's my uterus costume? I think I saw it on your site. HAHAHA!
Yes, we bitter clingers just don't "get" Obama. We always have to have neutral, unbiased, fair and balanced folks like Chris Matthews, "Special" Ed Schultz, Rachel Madcow, etc. to explain to us that what we heard was not what Obama said, even though we heard it with our own ears. We are so dense that Obama's policy failures are our fault, because if he didn't have to spend so much time explaining those policies to us, the great unwashed and unappreciative, why those policies would work out just fine, and we could see the invisible unicorns flying around farting rainbows and shitting skittles. We'd no longer have to work, but could sit around non-carbon dioxide producing campfires singing Kumbaya. The Muslims would love us, those pesky Jews would realize how vile they are and throw themselves into the sea, and everyone, worldwide, would perform for the government they belong to according to their abilities and receive according to their needs. And, Obama, the wise, would be the one to decide what we need.
ReplyDeleteAnd, there are still people who would vote for him? Liberalism has to be a mental disorder.
Well, if you take out the names and party from all of the Acts and pork packages of the last 25 years and just looked at the finished 'laws', I doubt you would know what party added/voted for much of anything. Even if dreams come true for you Republicans and you take the Senate and the POTUS, it is yet to be seen if Reps can actually turn anything around. The worst times in recent US political history have been when supermajorities have been in power for either side. Jus' sayin'...
DeleteYou are absolutely correct, Tuerqas. You'll get no argument from me on what HAS happened. But I think there is a different mood in this country and I honestly believe that the Tea Party, quietly yet insistently, is taking over the Republican party. The old guard like Mitch McConnell are being squeezed out. There's a new game in town. It's still very much up to us to keep the pressure on and continue to send men and women to Washington that are serious about restoring honest government, but we've at least begun the fight. It used to be that all the energy was on the liberal side and so the conservatives just kind of got pulled in that direction. I'm crossing my fingers that reform can happen within the power structures we already have. If not, then we do have to form a third party.
DeleteI hope you are right, but I am not convinced. Ryan is an excellent conservative spokesman, but arguably he will have a lot less power as VP than as budget chairman. And WI is putting up Tommy Thompson as GOP Senator. Thompson is an 80s spend for everyone man and Wisconsinites put him up, not as a conservative(only the meth users and hopeless hack partisans buy that), but 'as the best chance of beating the Dem'. Sorry, but that line just does not work for me. We KNOW what Thompson is. If a conservative cannot be elected then Reps don't deserve the seat. Thw worst part is that after 4 years of more spending no one will (again) have any confidence that conservatism is the way to go at all, because Thompson and his ilk REPRESENTED conservatism.
