  2. I'm a knight, not a krook!

BTW, Buttercup -- you get my DM on twitter?

    1. HA! Krook. Very good.

Yes. I just popped over there and saw you and followed back. I NEVER go on Twitter, so don't be looking for me much. I've got almost nothing to say that can be said in 140 keystrokes.

  3. "Curses! Caught between the hammer of the law and the anvil of an illegal move. Maybe I could pawn my behavior off on the queen."

At least it is a white knight so it isn't blantantly racist. Except in that the black knight would be a much more believable villain, right? (Yes, anytime blatant and racist are used in the same sentence, it must be spelled blantant. It is in the dictionary, or will be.

Blantant IS in the Urban Dictionary, which, as everyone who isn't a racist knows, is much more contemporary and hip.

I think just the chess reference alone is racist. And using the white knight makes it blantantly so.

  4. I think the knight should have gone for the physical evidence defense:
Dude, where I come from I AM the car!

I could do chess humor all day: You think I am bad, the bishop hasn't taken a straight step in his whole life. The King can go anywhere, but he can't take more than one step without tipping over. All of the pawns are cowards. They walk a straight path, but you need to get them slobbering drunk to fight. That leaves the fluzy queen who can and will go anywhere for beer a fight or a screw and the straight and narrow castle, who will rook you out of everything you own as soon as you fall off the wagon.

Chess is a racist game. The whole premise pits blacks against whites while on a board where no black or white can stand together. The only solution is killing even though each side has one black and one white bishop. You would think the clergy could broker a peace, but the best they can ever do is a draw after a massacre.

    Thanks for the post :)
