The Moral Hypocrisy of the Left

Remember this?

Remember how this picture gave us our talking points? How we were supposed to mock her patrician, out of touch "hobbies", the disgraceful way she threw around her money...on a horse!??! How DARE she? This was all the proof the left needed that the Romneys were completely evil. They didn't care! They owned a horse, ferchrissakes!

Get the freaking pitchforks and torches!

But when Obama sidesteps a meeting with Netanyahu on the heels of attacks on our embassies, attacks that left Americans dead, misses his security meeting and flies off to Vegas for a fundraiser, we're supposed to be reassured that he is staying on top of things with his iPad or something. He's just that smart.

And we are never to forget that he cares. About us. The little people. Very little.

This little soiree with Beyonce and Jay-Z and a $105,000 tower of champagne at a fundraiser that cost $40,000 a pop to attend is just another example of the kind of hard, tough choices that Obama makes for us every day.

Bless him. The sacrifices he makes for us all.

Just remember, Ann Romney owns a horse. That's all you need to know.

    1. Simmah down, Tuerqas! You can't afford Rafalca. She's a very high-class dame. HAHAHA!

What amazed me most about this story when it broke was that even horse people, people who SHOULD know better because we all know how much money, time and dedication it takes to get a horse to the Olympics (no one gets there cheap), were acting like this was some kind of massive outrage. How DARE she? I would just stare at them, dumbfounded. No outrage for the entire jumper team, the other dressage team members, the 3Day team, nope. Nada. Zilch. Only Ann Romney deserved scorn.

      Yeah...no hypocrisy there.

  2. If she was a good person she'd just send that money in to the government. Instead she spends it on horse trailers, vets, feed, tack, entry fees, etc., much better not to worry all the little people who make and sell that stuff with money they'll just spend wrong anyway.

A $105,000 tower of champagne might seem decadent at first, but it's for the benefit of the special people so you know it's really a good use.

  3. She has a horse. The White House has a horses ass....that talks. I think the Dems win the contest for inane diatribes on useless information for feeble minded voters.

  4. I wonder if that champagne is strictly for decoration or if they sell it and how quickly. I wouldn't expect it to stay good for very long stored like that. Looks impressive but it might just be a lot of extremely expensive bubbleless vinegar. Very appropriate for an Obama fundraiser if so.

    1. Yep. A huge amount of money, spent turning something valuable into something worthless through misuse and abuse, all just for appearances.

      CODE.

  5. The Romneys also gave close to $5 million dollars to charity in 2011. How much did the Obamas give? Or Harry Reid? Or the Bidens? Or the Pelosis?
As a percentage of income, the Romneys gave 30% of theirs to charity. How much of their income percentage wise, did the others listed above give? Barry said, "at some point you've earned enough money." Apparently, Il Douche seems to think he and the Furious Lardass of the United States have not yet reached that point where they've earned enough money.

    1. And they never will. His money isn't part of the equation. Never is for those who preach sacrifice. It's always YOUR sacrifice that they are concerned with.

  6. It should also be remembered that the horse was to help her wig her MS.

    1. Good point. I don't always emphasize that, though, because the outrage was over the cost of Rafalca, and Ann doesn't ride her. Ann owns the mare, but she is trained and competed by Jan Ebeling.

But her interest in riding and horses DID begin because of her MS. It is very good therapy for the muscles. Children with CP also benefit greatly from horseback riding.
