Which Dream Will Be America's Dream?

Will we choose to abandon our history and align ourselves with Obama's dream for America? Or will we choose to renew our commitment to the dreams of our Founding Fathers? We will answer that question, as a nation, in just a few months. This movie may help people decide.

  1. That video's kind of awesome. And it inspires me to keep working on a long post/essay/rant I'm struggling over about America and what losing its quality means.

I clicked over from your comment on my blog by the way, and I feel like I've found a sister. Also you're funnier than me. Sorry to eff up your plans to be ignored, I'm totally going to be stalking your blog from now on.

    1. You have no idea how much courage it took for me to hit the "send" button on that comment. I'm the quintessential stalker. I have been reading blogs - fabulous blogs like yours - for YEARS and never left a single comment. Just read and laughed and talked to the screen like an old woman who should be wearing a red hat. Picked up your blog ages ago on Bill Whittle's Eject!Eject!Eject! before he went all big-time video star with PJTV. LOL! Read you religiously...but then you went dark. Now you're BACK! YEAH!

I started blogging 2 months ago because my husband encouraged me. Insisted, actually. I think he hoped I would shut up if I had an outlet. No such luck...so he stills travels.

I get to be your big sister. So there.

  2. OMG. My husband practically forced me to get back to blogging, too, hoping I'd shut up if I had an outlet, just like you said! I'd taken to ranting to him after dinner about Obama and stuff and he said, "Hey sweetie honey booger-bear sweetums? Do you still have your blog password? Do you think maybe it would help you to go there and talk to your people? Hmmmm sweetie darling precious sugar please don't make me kill you?"

I'm totally a blog stalker too. I usually never, ever comment on other blogs, either, even the ones I refresh 10 times a day like Ace of Spades and Hot Air.

I like the red hat idea. It suits for the screen-talking.

Seriously though - it's interactions with people like you that are the whole reason I ever blog. I try to bring stuff up with my family in email, or friends on Facebook, and they do not give a tiny little shit about any of it. The awesome little crew of regular commenters I've somehow managed to gather over the years keeps me sane. I'm really glad you're there too, and here. I love the leaping lamb video; jesus eff cripes that's awesome. And tasty-looking.

    Are we married to brothers?

I don't think I have any friends anymore; at least not any that don't roll their eyes and hold their breath if anything remotely related to politics comes up. HA! I've taken to denying them my wisdom. That'll teach'em.

BTW, your post on your birthday with the foot and the finger was Hi-freaking-larious! I almost commented. I did read it aloud to my husband, who is re-thinking his support for my blogging since now I feel compelled to read everything I admire aloud to him. The ol' "this is the kind of stuff I wish I could write" thing.

He's in Texas right now. HA!

(He laughed. He's thinks you're bloody funny.)
