Precisely and EXACTLY because of this.
Every time they were doing something adorable that I wanted to record for posterity and so would grab the video camera, they instantly stopped doing whatever adorably cute thing they were doing and started acting like perfect little retards, emitting random noises, flailing and gyrating, completely distracted by the appearance of the camera.
Oh, it was cute. Once. Maybe. Like this kid. But an entire video library of this shit is not cute at all.
That's why I don't have any video of my adorable children.
