It's a shame the nation's first black President won't go to the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg address. More of a shame that he really isn't fit to go even if he were so inclined.
I'm so glad you've discovered Joe Dan. I first ran across him some years ago when he was doing serious political music videos. Loved him them, love him now. But he's FANTASTIC at humor.
Our first black president could never bring himself to be GRATEFUL to anyone else. Honoring the man who ended slavery would be painful because then he would have to admit that he personally hasn't experienced anything close to the racial prejudice and hardship of people who are long, long dead.
