  2. I love CT, I love my house. When my youngest finishes high school, I'll be looking for a job elsewhere, and right now TX is pretty damn high on the list.

Heck, I'd just be going home, since I was born there, though we left when I was a few weeks old.

  3. We don't need to keep calm, we need to get totally pissed off and vote the quislings out of office at each level: local, county, state, and federal. I am so very disappointed in Senator Coburn. I never thought he would become another McCain.

  4. Day 2 of the Shutdown, and the sun still rose in the east.
What I find truly amazing about this fiasco are all the Zerobots blaming the Republicans for the shutdown. Of course, the shutdown blame game finger pointing by the Dumbasscrats is the type of behavior they grew up using. Essentially, Der Grosse Null told the House, if you don't give me everything I want, I'll fall down on the floor and have a kicking, screaming tantrum. When Congress did not give him everything he wanted, he fell down on the floor and had (is having) a kicking, screaming tantrum. Eventually, he'll get up and tell us, "see what you MADE me do?" And his gonad lickers in the Lame Stream Media, when they can take Ear Leader's genitals out of their mouths will willingly repeat. "the Republicans MADE him do it" over and over again.

    1. I'm amazed that the Republicans in the House haven't caved yet. I think if they hold out long enough they can break him. Let's see if he really can hold his breath until he turns blue. He's a weakling, but he's not going to give in easy. He's staked his whole presidency on this particular red line.

  5. In other shutdown news: the lowlife, fetid piece of garbage occupying the Presidency is sticking his thumb in the eye of WWII vets for no reason whatever. That's just what jumped-up penny ante thugs do..

  6. I'm so sorry I haven't been checking in and responding to my bestest most favoritest commenters. Real life is crazy busy, and, frankly, I am so overwhelmed by what is happening in this country right now I can't even form words, much less write about it. Every spare moment (and they are far and few between) is spent glued to the computer screen, trying desperately to stay abreast of it all. Thanks, RG, for the Sound Cloud link to Cruz's interview with Rush. I really am impressed with Cruz. He is one of the few who strike me as acting out of principle and belief, not political opportunism. He is with the Tea Party because he thinks that will get him re-elected. He's with the Tea Party because he IS the Tea Party. Refreshing.

I promise I will try to post more. I just can't think straight. I just want to run around, flapping my arms and screaming, "START THE REVOLUTION!!!"

    2. Hope you get things under control soon. After all, I was promised a podcast in October. If I don't get it, I shall stamp my little feet and pout like the dickens. :) Seriously though, I do miss you guys when you're gone.

    3. HEY!!!! I missed this comment...like the complete stupid remard that I am. I miss all of you, too, when I'm not keeping in touch. Feels like I haven't had any friends over forEVER!

The podcast thingy is definitely on the table, schedules permitting. But we've been talking about this since last year, so it's GOING TO HAPPEN!

    4. I'm just keeping my expectations safely under control. Even with the best intentions, sometimes the best laid schemes of mice and men...
