Checking in...instead of checking out.

One of the interesting things about blogging is that when you start and have absolutely NO audience, you have no expectations and no sense of obligation. You can talk crap, make up stupid stuff, ramble, rant and generally carry on all by yourself. Then people find you and it is thrilling! You exchange comments, you are childishly tickled to death that they would take the time from their day to read your shit, and you think of them as friends. But friends that you must perform for. I know that sounds weird, but there always is this underlying obligation that I must write something WORTHY. This is difficult for me as I have never written anything that is WORTHY in my life, and now that I have developed this sense of responsibility to do so, I've become a recluse...waiting for the WORTHY to kick in.

It hasn't.

So, since I miss my internet friends, I'm going to just write to say hello, I miss meeting you all here, and DOES ANYONE ELSE THINK THE WORLD IS GOING NUTS???

And by nuts, I don't mean the Islamic shootings in Paris and San Bernardino. That is completely rational on their part, given their beliefs, and only to be expected. The insanity is in the West's utter inability to understand and respond appropriately to the threat we face. People are being butchered, crucified, burned alive, raped, shot, and beheaded in the name of a brutal god, and our political betters rush to the microphones to tell us low grade, bare-foot bigots to just hold onto our reactionary, uneducated hatred and settle down.

Hundreds shot dead in Paris and our Beloved President lectures us FROM PARIS about the San Bernardino shooting, saying that this simply doesn't happen anywhere else. While I love irony as much as anyone, this borders on the creepy. And the primary thing our DOJ is worried about is anti-Muslim backlash. You remember how Muslims were being dragged out into the street and set on fire by the hundreds after 9/11, don't you? It was awful. Wouldn't want THAT to happen again.

Hundreds dead in Paris and Obama tells us from Paris that it never happened. Fourteen dead, and Loretta Lynch is more worried about what has never happened than what has just happened.

The world is going nuts!!

The worst thing is that history shows us that when the world starts going nuts, there is no stopping the plunge. We don't come out of the grand mal seizure until it exhausts itself in its own time and millions are dead. I think we are going to see some Very Bad Things very soon.

But one of the things I know for certain about such insanity -- there is nothing any of us can do about it. Not a damn thing. Given that reality, and the fact that I am sitting here alone, having eaten the last of three teeny little chocolate peppermint candies, I am pissed.

But I have a little Cognac left, so I have the proper libation for pondering.

Why are we so stupid?

We refuse to admit there's a connection between the fact that every time a Muslim becomes MORE religious, innocent people end up dead. When Catholics become more religious, they become Mother Theresa. Major difference.

Why are we so scared?

The main argument against recognizing Islam for what it actually is seems to be that there are so many of them that we can't admit the truth. People look at me and gasp, "But there are over a billion of them!" My answer, "So fucking what? That just means we've got some work to do, and we'd better get started."

Why is the West so willing to commit cultural suicide?

Knowing what we do about Islam, why are we letting in hundreds of thousands of unvetted Syrian refugees? Our leaders are either retarded or dangerously treacherous.

And why is SCIENCE! the god of the liberal until it smacks their precious tolerant ideology around? Then you're a religious bigot for using SCIENCE!

Studies prove it.

I get the feeling this administration just isn't on our side. Or on the side of the Constitution. But Joe Walsh is on our side. And on the side of our Constitution. Go, Joe!

There is just so much craziness, and there simply isn't enough Cognac.

The First Time, They Come In Peace

September 11th, the twelfth anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on American soil, saw two marches on Washington D.C., and neither was actually a "march".  One was a motorcycle ride of thousands and thousands and the other a pitiful little gathering.

One was of Americans, and the other of people who just live here.

The pitiful little gathering was of Muslims worried about not being "tolerated" for their regressive, totalitarian, brutal, racist beliefs and who thought it would be a grand idea to demand tolerance on the very anniversary of the event where they killed thousands of Americans. Good idea.

Apparently most Muslims didn't feel that strongly about it because only a dozen or so showed up. Actually, I think this is praise-worthy. There is hope yet if so few Muslims in this country are willing to be so arrogant as to march on September 11.  Bravo for them.

Seems Islamophobia in America is a serious problem that concerns many.
Or not.

On the other side of the coin, Americans from all over this country rode their bikes to Washington D.C. to show respect for the fallen and to re-affirm their commitment to the American Republic.

Bravo to them, too.

It's all about to hit the fan.

There have been a couple of stories that crossed my computer over the last two days that I did not want to write about as they seemed too explosive and, therefore, hopefully not credible.

But the pieces are beginning to fall into place. And not a good place. In fact, it sort of looks like hell.

First, over at Gateway Pundit, there was this post about Jeremiah "God Damn America" Wright admitting that he had made it easy for Obama to practice Christianity without having to renounce Islam.

WTF?

Syria-usly!!!

WTF? If Reverend Wright is to be believed, this is a major, game-changing, "Awwww shit"! moment.

I have always believed that Obama was sympathetic to the Muslim religion, having been born to a Muslim father and raised in a Muslim country, but the idea that he might still consider himself a Muslim is disquieting, to say the least.

Then there was the story, which we've all seen by now of Obama's brother, Malik Obama who is the "bagman" for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Of course, we also know that Malik's fund-raising organization was granted non-profit status retroactively to cover his illegal ass by none other than Lois "I didn't do anything wrong so I'll take the Fifth" Lerner, the IRS official accused of holding up the non-profit status of Tea Party applicants for years.

Now we have a chemical weapon attack in Syria carried out by the Assad regime, even though Obama had already opened his big mouth about a red line and how he'd be really pissed if Assad did anything like that and Assad was WINNING and didn't need to piss off Obama or anyone else; he needed only to press on to finish off the rebels. Assad had no reason whatsoever to use chemical weapons and potentially bring the international community down on his head, led by Righteous President Peace Prize. Of course, with Obama leading the charge for military action, the international community said, "You have at it, buckwheat. We'll take a pass on this one. That's your fucking red line." Assad had no way of knowing that the ENTIRE WORLD would abandon Obama. Usually, when you piss off America, you piss off a lot of other powerful countries. Not this time though...but still...Assad would never have taken that chance. He didn't need to. He was winning.

It also seems highly unusual, to say the least, that the Obama administration could know within days who carried out the attack and all the details surrounding the use of sarin gas in a foreign country torn apart by civil war, yet they still haven't been able to piece together what happened in Benghazi where we had numerous diplomatic and covert assets on the ground...or right here in America with Fast and Furious for that matter. "But what difference, at this point, does it make?"

Plenty.

Now we are learning that the attack may well have been carried out by rebel forces intent on provoking an American response from a president seemingly more than eager to "help" and just waiting for an excuse to do so openly.

Yesterday President Peace Prize went on TV to lie through his teeth about God Damn EVERYTHING and now we learn that soldiers are being deployed to Egypt and SYRIA!!!

Obama wants this war. He believes in it. This is not about America or our interests or our safety. This is about establishing the final Caliphate. The Sunnis want the Shiites, politically powerful in Iran and Syria, to get taken out because only one faction of Islam can rule in their world.

Obama is going to do just that for his Sunni homeboys. With our military. With our sons and daughters. With our husbands and wives. With our sisters and brothers.

They are going to be forced to fight for Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood.

This is monstrous.

John McCain isn't just a loser in national politics, a RINO, a wannabe maverick...he's an asshole, too.

Senator John "Does the NYT have anything nice to say about me?" McCain is an utter, unmitigated asshole. I no longer will even give him credit for being such a shitty pilot that he got shot down and became a hero in Vietnam for being captured instead of killed.

He's an asshole and I'm done with him. I hope this country is, too. Ar-i-ZON-a! Are you listening?

He may even be a traitor to this country as he is openly advocating support for Al Qaeda rebels -- sworn enemies of the United States. Isn't that still treasonous? Even in today's insane upside down world?

These are the monsters he insists only say, "Allahu Akbar" like we would say, "Thank God." But we don't say, "Thank God" as we butcher children and execute captives, asshole.

I am so completely and thoroughly disgusted with our political class, men who lie to us, betray us, demand that our sons and daughters die for their egos and stupidity while they party and play games on their iPhones.

And they don't know jackshit about it. Here is a video of a Syrian woman giving McCain hell.

Assad is a monster. The rebels are monsters. There are no "good guys" in this fight. And if we get in it, we won't be "good guys" either. We will have lost all moral standing. We will be the new "bad guys" stomping around on the world stage.

And we're going to get whacked for it. Hard. Because Russia and China aren't being run by idiots. We are, however - idiots and traitors.

"We don't need no stinkin' badges!"

And these bikers don't need no stinkin' permit.

Apparently our National Park Service didn't think a parade on the anniversary of 9/11 to honor our fallen citizens and soldiers who have died in the last twelve years because of Islamic extremism was important enough to issue a permit.

So the bikers came anyway.

There is a lesson here, folks. The government is only as powerful as we allow it to be. If we, as free citizens, say not just, "No!" but "HELL NO!" then the government must stand aside or use force, because force is all it has. Force is all it is.

And the moment the government uses force, the game is ON. Because we will see it for what it is. Power. Control. Force.

Jon Stewart said he believes in "good government" even as we learn of spying, drones strikes, attacks on the Constitution, coverups, use of power to destroy political enemies, and flat out lies. I say there is no such thing as "good government." There is only big government and small government.

The smaller the better.

Putin is warning that if Prince Dumbass dares to attack Syria, he will strike Saudi Arabia. That is, in technical terms, what we call "hitting the fan."

Republicans McCain, Graham say cannot support limited Syria strikes

Syria that are not part of a bigger strategy.

"We cannot in good conscience support isolated military strikes in Syria that are not part of an overall strategy that can change the momentum on the battlefield, achieve the president's stated goal of (Syrian President Bashar al-) Assad's removal from power, and bring an end to this conflict, which is a growing threat to our national security interests," they said in a statement.

If you’ll pardon my language, I have a simple message for the President of the United States of America.

They can’t follow if you won’t lead, asshole.

Now, I’ve said a lot of nasty things about our last three presidents. A lot of nasty things. But I don’t think I’ve ever been tempted to personally address any of them as “asshole.” Not until today. Not until witnessing the most embarrassing and embarrassingly public performance by a world leader on the world stage. Monica Lewinsky could have been giving Bill Clinton a blowjob right there at the podium during the State of the Union address, in front of all the cameras, and it still wouldn’t have been as air-suckingly horrific as the low-rent Vaudeville act we’ve watched Obama and Kerry put on these last few days. Because in the Clinton-Lewinsky scenario I just described, at least the President is the one getting serviced, instead of dropping trou, bending over, and giving the whole world an invitation to do whatever — because, “You know, whatever. It’s only foreign policy. It’s not like it’s something important, like giving public money away to some buddies of mine who just swear they can build a magic car battery.”

Or siphoning money to your half brother who is in charge of the monies for the Muslim Brotherhood, which is backing the terrorists in Syria, who are Al Qaeda.

During Dick Nixon’s impeachment hearings, the question was, “What did the President know, and when did he know it?” Turned out, Nixon knew plenty, and knew it all quite early enough to get him driven out of the White House. With Obama the question is, “WTF? I mean WTeffingF? Doesn’t this asshole know anything?” And the answer is no, and yet we’re still stuck with this SCoaMF for three and a half more years.

I’m sure the Republic will survive. But I’m not sure we’ll recover unless the next President is Ronald Reagan crossed with Chuck Norris crossed with George Patton crossed with Jesus.

I know just the guy. Allen West. Am I right?

Actually, as funny as this piece is and as tempting as it is to look at what Obama is doing and conclude that he's a complete and utter dumbass, my take is that this has all been carefully orchestrated (oh, not by Obama..he really IS an utter dumbass) and that we are likely seeing the

pieces being moved on the chess board to bring about the destruction of Israel, eliminate the threat of a Shiite power grab via Iran, and ultimately consolidate a new Caliphate in the Middle East under the powers of the Sunnis via Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

Oh...and destroy the last vestiges of our Constitutional Republic with its separation of powers.

Nice little trifecta on foreign policy with a little added bonus of ending freedom in the United States.

Here's my gut-level analysis:

Journey to the End of the World in 20 easy steps.

1. Obama has, since taking office in 2008, systemically and deliberately been destroying the energy producing sector of our country. This has to make Saudi Arabia happy. And it puts us as at a SERIOUS disadvantage to fight a protracted war in the Middle East.
2. Obama's family members have strong ties to Marxism, violent revolutions in Africa, Sunni Islam, and the Muslim Brotherhood. Not the kind of background that makes you feel he's on our side.
3. Within Islam, the Shiites and the Sunnis hate each other and are struggling for ultimate power - the new Caliphate.
4. Saudi and Turkey are Sunni. Iran is largely Shiite, and though Syria is predominately Sunni, its rulers are Shiites. In other words, Syria and Iran are damn upstarts and need to get whacked.
5. Obama allowed Mubarak's government to be overthrown. He did nothing when the Muslim Brotherhood took over (which everyone saw coming)...except to approve. When the army stepped in, he got all pissy about "coups" and democratic elections. 
6. Obama toppled Gaddafi and completely destabilized that region, a region that provides more terrorists fighters to Al Qaeda and crew than almost any other in the Middle East.
7. The last person Ambassador Chris Stevens met with on the evening of his death was the Consul of Turkey.
8. There is strong evidence that our government was running guns and weaponry through the Benghazi consulate with Turkey's involvement -- to the Syrian "freedom fighters."
9. If we strike Syria, Iran has already stated that it will retaliate -- by hitting Israel.
10. Israel has given them all the finger and promised massive reprisal if Iran pulls any shit.
11. Russia and China have warned Obama to stay out of it -- or something really bad might happen.
12. Obama is saying he just wants to throw some bombs around. He doesn't really want to get involved. WTF?
13. Russia is explaining to Prince Dumbass that would be "involved."
14. Approval for this stupidity is at around 9% among an American electorate that can't usually distinguish their ass from a hole in the ground, but this one time they seem to be paying attention.
15. But this resistance from the American people just plays into Obama's hands because now, to appear conciliatory and diplomatic, he is going to politely twiddle his thumbs and wait for Congress to reconvene in another week so that he can ask them to handle this CRISIS by giving him the go ahead. They will say no. Then Obama will say, "Fuck you" and go ahead anyway.
16. This will effectively destroy any power Congress has left against the Obama juggernaut of tyranny because it is an altogether different critter to just go ahead and start shit (lots of presidents have before Obama), then it is to ASK FOR PERMISSION AND THEN GO AHEAD AND START SHIT ANYWAY AGAINST CONGRESS' STATED "NO WAY, JOSE. SIT THE FUCK DOWN."
17. This is like our Prince Dumbass saying, "If Congress doesn't act, than I will." Really, bucko? REALLY? Yes, really.
18. So we hit Syria. Iran hits Israel. Israel rains death and destruction on their picnic cloth heads. Russia and China step in. It's game on.
19. BOOOM!

Why there shouldn't be any Italian Muslims.

I know this is everywhere, but it bears repeating.

If our own government insists that law-abiding Americans don't really need assault weapons (in violation of their 2nd Amendment right), and must submit to invasive bureaucratic paperwork and petty, ineffective regulations to do anything with any gun they are allowed to own other than lock it up in a gun safe, then why IN HELL is our government arming Syrian rebels which are, in all probability, Al Qaeda?

Why?

She's back...with a vengeance.

Rachel has been on a long vacation around Italy and Poland and so has not been posting much. But she is back, and brings us a whopping beat down of the terribly civilized British reaction to a terribly uncivilized Islamic act.

The barbarians are at the gates.

Oh, and it seems coincidentally there is an attempt on the part of our loving and wise federal government to perhaps persecute prosecute anyone who posts negative statements about Islam.

So here's one for you, Bill Killian, the US Attorney for the Eastern district of Tennessee..."F*&K Islam. And F*&K YOUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

Our president warns us, one might even say threatens us, that the future must not belong to those who would slander the prophet of Islam. Really, kittens? For the president of this country who is touted to have at least a passing familiarity with the Constitution and who took an oath to uphold it as the highest law of the land, that is a remarkably treasonous statement. The future most not belong to those who would silence free speech. Especially offensive speech. One is not free if one is only free to say what offends no one. Wishing everyone a nice day can not be considered a Constitutionally protected expression.

Speaking the truth of Islam had better be.

Freedom isn't free. And it isn't safe, either.

I won't win any friends for saying this, but I am ashamed of my country today. That we should be so quickly reduced to cowering in our homes, so happy to see armored trucks and SWAT Team-style para-military police squads roaming all over a town, so willing to comply meekly in the face of overwhelming force, is shocking to me. These are not the actions of a free people. This should not be response of a free state. It looks perilously close to a totalitarian police state, to me.

I see these scenes, and I think, "Kittens, we are being conditioned."

In watching the highly militarized police response to the Boston bombings and the massive manhunt for one piece of shit 19 year old boy, which has now effectively shut down an entire area, I cannot help but wonder if this is an instance of not letting a crisis go to waste, to use our dear Mr. Emanuel's famous phrase.

Only in America could this happen and we all still think we're the "Land of the Free."

Kittens, we are being conditioned.

While I fully understand the second-by-second potential for more death and bloodshed in an unstable and rapidly unfolding situation, I can't see scenes like these and not be sharply aware of the greater danger in a police force that could put together this kind of response over the escape of a single 19 year old kid, scared, on the run, his brother dead, his family far away. When did this kind of military style show of force become acceptable on the streets of our country? Did I miss something? Can someone fill me in on when, exactly, as a nation, we became so tremblingly, pee-our-pants-terrified that we sheepishly beg for this kind of massive fascistic over-the-top manhunt to find one stinking little shithead of a kid?

If they find him, will they really need all those bullets and all that protection?

Kittens, we are being conditioned.

Conditioned to the idea that the police are the military and the military are the police, and that it's all hunky dory. Conditioned to the idea that only a MASSIVE response of government power is appropriate to track down one single 19 year old boy -- for everyone's safety, of course. Conditioned to the idea that this kind of scene is not just appropriate but welcomed and necessary. Conditioned to the idea that an ever more militarized police force is just what we need to be "safe."

But it's not what we need to remain free.

This kind of power will not stay within the boundary of responding to terrorism for long, in my humble opinion. It has very nearly burst those bounds as it is. The bombings in Boston, while horrific and deeply saddening, were the work of two loner brothers, one of whom is already dead, if not by the hail of police bullets, then by the car driven over him by his fleeing brother. If we accept this down-town Baghdad style response from our government as appropriate in America ever, mark my words, we will see this kind of force used in more and more incidences, slowly broadening the acceptable use of force for transgressions against the ever more virulent state.

Rachel Lucas asks the same question, albeit not with the fascistic inference I've given it, and she raises the highly salient point that: 

"certain journalists and leftist commentators are either (1) going silent over the fact that the confirmed suspects are in fact foreign and Muslim, rather than dirty little honky redneck tax-opposing homegrown domestic terrorist teabaggers like they were hoping for, and/or (2) saying now – and only now, after it turns out not to be a cracker teabagger – that it’d be unwise to rush to conclusions or to make assumptions based on demographic factors.

There is a reason for this, kittens. Yup. You guessed it. Conditioning.

As long as the media maintain the drumbeat that the right is inherently dangerous and that it is reasonable to immediately suspect them of just about anything, while simultaneously insisting that there is simply no way to know why anyone who is not a rabid, snarling right-winger would ever DO such a thing, the government can continue to increase its power and use of force without pushback from a frightened and polarized population that is not allowed to even openly discuss the possibility that Islam is a danger to society and should be severely restricted in a free country.

So if you refuse to take reasonable measures to ensure the security of the population, you will inevitably be allowed all manner of UNreasonable measures when all hell breaks loose and the citizens cry for safety.

I think our government wants that. Badly.

And we are giving it to them. And thanking them for it.

Much of that condition may be ascribed to generational abuses and cruelties, but so much of it is chosen freely, or mindlessly. However arrived at, it’s easily preferred because it requires so little accountability, so little thought or self-reflection. It’s an on/off switch that reacts to one thing: power.

To the outside observer accustomed to self-direction, the Muslim way of life seems miserable, cruel and oppressive. Inside that Borg-swarm mentality, however, it is an uncomplicated life when it’s not a hungry one. To be a part of the swarm is to move on pure reflex. No need to tax the thought processes, the auto-pilot of the culture is much to be preferred to the exhaustion of thoughtful reflection upon one’s existential dilemma.

I have spent far too many hours contemplating how whole nations could become so absorbed by a belief that they could allow it to take them down into Hell and not pause, just for a minute, and ask, "Hey, this doesn't even FEEL good? What are we doing?"

I believe adamantly that every single thing we do as creatures, mammals, humans is because we belief there is some benefit. No matter how crazy, self-destructive, non-productive or just plain nutty something is, we do it because we believe it has a benefit to us. No one ever does anything that is absolutely believed to be without benefit. Even Jeffrey Dahmer had his reasons.

So when you look at a belief system like Islam which has delivered nothing but misery to its followers for CENTURIES, you have to start wondering, "What is UP with that?"

Islam provides the sweet absolution of absolute conformity to the collective. Nothing is your fault because nothing is under your control. Therefore nothing requires any effort; there is no risk. And all rewards imaginable are promised if you just lose yourself to the group. Sweet submission. It is no wonder that Islam does not mean "peace", it means "submission."

So go read it. All of it.

Some years ago, when my son was in high school and Team America was a fairly recent movie, he decided to "be" Gary. Dark pancake makeup, a black stuffed toy with fake fur destroyed for eyebrows and beard, a big bath towel...and it was UNCANNY!

The funniest part of the whole costume was that, other than the kids who instantly got it, the adults around this sleepy little red-neck infested hamlet did NOT. One guy almost punched my son for dressing up like a terrorist! THAT would not have been funny.

Luckily he escaped after struggling to explain that he was making fun of the terrorists...that it was from a movie...but it was a close call.

Radical Christianity is as threatening as radical Islam.

I, personally, am terrified every time the "radical" church ladies leave a Watchtower pamphlet at my door. They are planning to kill me, I just know it.

What isn't funny is that people as stupid as Rosie O'Donnell have a platform like The View on which to spout such nonsense and the audience (stupid squared) applaud. You can almost feel their congratulatory self-righteousness. I wouldn't be surprised if they shared satisfied glances among themselves as they furiously clapped their approval of such hideous stupidity, thinking themselves so very, very clever and intelligent and tolerant.

But while they smack their little hands together in support of equating "radical" Christianity with radical Islam, there are real women who know the difference. Because it kills them.

Canada: Mother has throat slit to spine for wanting kids raised as Westerners

Wife and mother Randjida Khairi wanted her children to be essentially raised like all the other children in her adopted nation of Canada. 

But for taking a stand contrary to her staunchly Islamic and Afghanistan-born husband, Peer Khairi, Randjida was found by Canadian police with her throat slashed wide-open, as well as her neck muscles, esophagus and voice box slashed open to the spine. 

Unable to raise her head or scream for help, the victim slowly suffocated in her own blood. 

According to testimony, "a process a pathologist would later determine took between five and 10 minutes."

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Mona Eltahawy, CNN and MSNBC news pundit and former Rueters correspondent, apparently is a little confused about the difference between speech and action. SPEECH is free, Mona. It's the ol' "sticks and stones may break my bones" idea. It's actions that are illegal. Actions like defacing property. That action is called vandalism, and it's not speech - free or otherwise. Might want to look up that little distinction. It will save you a trip downtown in the patrol car. And no, you don't get to keep the fancy bracelet the nice police officer gave you.

What a nasty, mean little piece of work.

The rise in rage and intolerance should not surprise anyone. It is the left that has always protested any opposition to its worldview with rage and destruction.

It is no coincidence that she feels justified in taking this action as our president apologizes before the UN for our freedom to speak in this country. It is no coincidence that her rage is so openly directed at Israel even as our current administration publicly distances itself from Israel and Netanyahu. It is no coincidence that she expresses such self-righteous arrogance as Ahmadinejad and Iran furiously proceed to develop a nuclear weapon.

The left is on the march. And it always marches toward war.

In London, a reporter tried to have an intelligent conversation with a protester. It didn't work out.

RACHAEL BROWN: Do you also object to the killings of the ambassador and three other people in Libya? 

SAIFUL ISLAM: See, the thing with these killings and what is happening, obviously this was going to be expected. Obviously when you do something like this it’s going to ignite and it’s going to cause violence. 

RACHAEL BROWN: So you’re not surprised there were deaths? 

SAIFUL ISLAM: I’m not surprised at all, I’m expecting obviously more carnage and more violence, and it’s going to escalate.

Translation? Nothing I do is my responsibility or my fault. Everything is provoked by you and I have absolutely no control whatsoever over my own behavior. So YOU must control yours or bad things will happen.
